Atom Bank is among the ranks of the early UK challenger banks, being founded in 2013 and launching in 2016. The bank is another that focuses squarely on smartphones and tablets, shunning the traditional bricks and mortar approach to banking.
In a differing approach to other challengers, Atom appears to focus on saving accounts and mortgages. Atom Bank currently does offer a current account.
